River Baptims Are a Tradition

Before we left church to baptize Cody in the river the other day, one of my friends Ms. Leona told me that she had been baptized in that same spot, and that she had a picture. I share that with you today with joy and wonder- at this tradition that has been around so long that Jesus himself was a part of it. I wonder if the Jordan was as cold as the West Fork of the Obey River? Probably not! By the way, Ms. Leona is the only one smiling in the picture!
