Sacred things, holy ground

Were you lucky enough to wipe a baby's bottom today? Did you have the opportunity to stand at the bedside of a dying woman today?

I did. I love my job. I love getting to be involved in people's lives in a deep and real way. To pray at a bedside where God is obviously near. To hold a child only a few days new in the world. These are the gifts of God for me today. Amen.
