I found out recently that Forrest Church, a tremendous preacher and author, and minister at All Souls Church in New York has had a recurrence of his cancer. If you want to be truly blessed, read his message to his congregation, his sermon from February 3 where he talks about "Love and Death."(click the link to read it) The sermon is beautiful both in its truth and beauty about dying- and his love for his congregation is so transparent. Dr. Church was scheduled to be our keynote speaker for our Christian Church in Tennessee Regional Assembly in October and while I had never met him, I had exchanged emails with him and felt the blessings of his warmth.
Dr. Church- my prayers are with you, and my gratitude for your amazing words. May the next few months be filled with tremendous blessings.
